i-m sorry but I just have to say that I don't think Thomas Brown calling the  plays will make that much of a difference  & matter of fact i think it will get worse instead of better & yeah yeah  i already  know that's actually very hard to believe especially  right now ...but will see...

If Tepper really wanted a win, he'd tell Frank to start Dalton.  It's not about wins right now rather than developing Young and to prove to everyone that Bryce was the correct choice HE made.

I don’t know who is behind what but I was pretty shocked at the first game. And one of my big rules is do not put stock in the first game as a predictor. Since they went to 3 preseason games, I extended that to the first two games. But what I saw was so different that I had to pay attention.

Game one illustrated it wasn’t about winning. Simply an exercise, like preseason. Reps for the kid. Kid gloves for the kid. Really depressing for me, as it foretold what we are in for. I don’t think he is worth it. I don’t want to watch it. It is horrible football by design. Intentional. They are not trying to win they are all about trying to get their college boy up the big boy speed, and I can only assume the leash comes off the entire offense only as the kid can operate it. But it is just unwatchable.

If you can’t run an NFL offense, do what Wilks did. Run a 1960s NFL offense. Or put a dude that understands and can functionally operate an NFL offense while going against against an NFL defense, today as opposed to a guy who maybe, after two years, could do that… hopefully.

Just put the best team on the field, regardless of draft position, and actually try to win a football game.

Frank didn't want Young to succeed, He thought maybe if Young sucked, Dalton could show it's the QB not the scheme-well Dalton lost to Seattle(a team he was 3-1)

Frank sabotage this team bc he didn't get CJ Stroud.

Tepper wanted Young

Fitterer wanted Young

Brown wanted Young

...Frank didn't want to give up playcalling, he already gave up his choice at QB. Frank needs to go, he's services are done.

And speaking on our meetings (they're fun) would get u can at my job...

Why was Frank hired in the first place you asked...

Analytics said he was the best hire with less backlash from not going with Wilks.

And the thing with Wilks, he wanted to pick his own QB, but Tepper and Fitt already had Young in mind. WIlks wasn't conceding to listen and wanted his options to remain open. Simple as that. And if you think anything otherwise you a fool. Bc at this point thats how it played out and hindsight can tell you that. Read between the lines

Frank just wanted another shot at HC, and he was lead to believe he had a chance to get CJ Stroud, the reason for the 3 dinners and trips-but Tepper only really enjoyed one visit-cmon now

This better work out or it’s going to hurt Browns stock. I’m excited to see some changes so this is welcome news to me.

I'm not worried about his stock, just his play calling. Honestly, we may be fuged either way. Tepper may have a decision to make when the wolves come calling.

Saying Reich doesn’t want Young succeed is flat out nonsense. He is tied to him.
I hope he didn’t want him, honestly, but all of that stuff should have, and I am pretty would have been worked out after discussing contingencies and strategies prior to deciding the man fit the job of HC- the overseer of development of the new QB era and all that stuff.

And if you don’t do that, who is the fool?

Is Frank’s heart in it? I don’t know, and would say it doesn’t look like it. Damn though there are 52 other player he is supposed to be looking out for and motivating too and I am not seeing it.

Frank Reich looks and sounds defeated 24/7.

    • Not sure if they are happy but realize they can’t upgrade everything this year and are content with the group
    • Bryce among the 7 players Mark Ross of NFL.com guarantees will get better this season. Today, I am identifying seven players who I guarantee will improve on their 2024 output in the 2025 season. Young took tremendous strides in 2024 after returning to the starting lineup in Week 8 following his benching. He looked far more comfortable in his return and produced with consistency, as he threw for 2,104 yards with 15 TDs and six INTs in the final 10 contests. Most important perhaps is Young's confidence grew immensely down the stretch, leading Carolina to either a game-tying or game-winning drive in six of those games. Now he enters his second season in Dave Canales' system with his best supporting cast to date. The Panthers drafted wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan eighth overall to pair with Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette, who I also believe is poised for a breakout campaign this fall. The 18th-ranked rushing attack from a year ago added Rico Dowdle to complement Chuba Hubbard, giving the team a pair of 1,000-yard rushers. The Panthers have taken the necessary steps to ensure Young's third season will be the best of his career, and now it's up to him to not only continue to grow as a player but prove why he was worthy of being taken No. 1 overall in 2023. I believe that's what he will do. https://www.nfl.com/news/which-nfl-players-will-improve-in-2025-c-j-stroud-deebo-samuel-among-guaranteed-risers
    • While it's fair to question how impactful a player's relationship with a coach is (especially if someone has questions regarding said coach), it's important to also evaluate the difference between the players here. Jordan Fuller was pick #199 in the 6th round while Justin Simmons was #98 in the 3rd round. Jordan Fuller might have gotten a Super Bowl ring while he was with the Rams, but he got it while on the IR. Justin Simmons, on the other hand, is a x2 Pro-Bowler (2020, 2023), x4 second-team All-Pro (2019, 2021 - 2023), and was the NFL co-leader in INTs (2022). Simmons has also fallen off in the last couple of seasons though, grade-wise. He very well might not be that same player, which could be why the Falcons have elected to replace him with Fuller. As far as getting the best out of what he has, asking him to produce with a starting DL of A'Shawn Robinson (63.56% of the defense's snaps), LaBryan Ray (51.48%), and Shy Tuttle (50.08%) isn't reasonable. Wonnum only played in 8 games, but had the second most % of snaps (37.27%) at EDGE behind Clowney (53.53%). The second-string DL based on snap % was... and don't read this if you just ate... Charles Harris (34.48%), DeShawn Williams (27.67%), and Nick Thurman (19.7%). The second-string EDGEs based on snap count would be DJ Johnson (32.27%) and Cam Gill (18.14%). With the investments made in the run defense this season though, especially on the defensive line, it's more than fair to demand a complete turn around from last season.
