Helped win a Super Bowl now a PS squad player.

Practice Squad doesn’t mean what it used to now that they changed the rules for it to allow vets on it.

It basically lets you carry extra players on the 53 man roster for 3 weeks

The Rams starting RB the last 2 weeks is also on their PS as you can activate someone from the PS 3 times before you have to make them a full time 53 man roster player

Agreed.

Still think Sam Darnold would be a better option. He has better arm talent than Purdy imo.

He has more talent for sure but he'd do what he does. Look good for a couple of three games then turn into a turnover machine once the league gets film of him operating in that system. It's been the story of his career.

I don't know man that roster is easily the best he would have ever played with. Hell he had us looking decent with Steve Wilks and not much to work with on offense.

I think he would kill it with all those weapons and he has a good HC.

This.

Darnold is who he is and thats not likely to suddenly change.

Montez Sweat traded to the Bears for a 2nd rounder. No chance we get a 1st for Burns.

Really surprised. I mean, Washington was gonna have to choose between him and Young in terms of who to pay but surprised Ron would be willing to trade him when he seems on the hot seat big time and his D is playing like straight trash. That secondary is getting shredded already and their pass rush is the only thing giving them a fighting chance.

There are indications that they're looking at moving Young as well.

    • In terms of enthusiasm at this exact juncture it's a 5 only because regular season football is back and we are 0-0 and there is the development of some key young players that I am very interested in seeing in regular season action. That brief high will probably be knocked down to 1 by October though.
    • I think the preseason performance has caused a "Meh" Cloud  to hover over the fan base.  I still have some interest and while I don't expect a lot of wins, I think there are other things I would like to see in terms of the team at least going in the right direction. On offense is Bryce the guy and is XL moving forward? Is the defense performing better with DB back Are the rookies and 2nd year players developing? That said, for me there is some intrigue but I don't think they will compete for a playoff spot.
    • Well just a few years ago they went to the playoffs and won a playoff game with Daniel Jones at QB. And while the Giants have been up and down at best since their last Super Bowl they have shown to be a more competent organization. While the Panthers haven't so much as sniffed the playoffs in nearly a decade. Logic would dictate that the Giants strategy has a high probability to be at least modestly successful. The Panthers? Eh.
