Wow we beat the Cavs?

I can’t watch the games where I’m at but that’s a good squad they took down.  LaMelo, you watching bro?  We need you.

Brandon Miller scores 31 points on seven 3s as Hornets beat Cavaliers 118-111

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- — Rookie Brandon Millermade seven 3-pointers and finished with 31 points, and the Charlotte Hornets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 118-111 on Wednesday night to avenge a 23-point loss earlier in the week.

Miles Bridges and Tre Mann each added 17 points and Grant Williams had 16 for the Hornets, who shot 58% from the field to snap a five-game losing streak. Vasa Micic had 11 points and 12 assists, and Nick Richards added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Officially a Prima Donna. Dude better wake up or his NBA career will be short lived. No one wants to put up with this crap.

I was at the game Sunday. He didn’t even sit courtside with the team for the entire game. He was there for the first half, nowhere to be seen the second half. That might be insignificant to a lot of people these days, but to me that says a lot about him. Selfish prima donna.

This is so disheartening, what a selfish prima donna. How are you supposed to be a team leader when you can't even be there with them for a few hours. Cliff needs to assert his authority on him.

I’m open to trading LaMelo.

I’d want the deal to look similar to the Donovan Mitchell trade.

Three first round picks and some players.

Then in the draft I’d go with Risacher if we have a top two pick or Dillingham if we are closer to the 5th overall pick.

If we trade him it better be this off-season. Pretty soon nobody is going to touch him with his injury history and he's now on a supermax contract.

If we keep him next season and he gets injured again we are stuck with him.

Brandon Miller has become the second player in NBA history to record 25+ points in a half with 100/100/100% splits (minimum 5 three’s attempted).

Other player is Steph.

We finally picked the right guy and it happened immediately after MJ bowed out. I hope this is a good sign for the future.

Don't forget the Magic won a bunch of games this year, not long after Cliff left. New blood, new results!

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
