You just defined regression.

lol one bad game wouldn't necessarily mean regression, but again that's Houston's problem.  Hopefully Young keeps getting better each week.  It looks like he is starting to get some chemistry with Mingo which is great.

My preference for RB was to sign Foreman and draft one. We ended up not doing so because he didn't want to be here and we had such few draft picks. But we definitely need to select a back next year someone who can compliment Chubba who is talented in his own right. Other teams are having success with this route. I do not want Fitterer making the pick though.

It shouldn't be hard to find a decent RB in the mid to late rounds honestly.  An undrafted rookie might even be an upgrade at this point.  We just need to get this OL figured out.

Agreed.   Not necessarily.

However,  if Bryce had an identical performance to Stroud today,  he would be absolutely eviscerated by my friends here on the Huddle.

Id still take the QB that has 10 overall TDs to 1 INT with almost double the amount of passing yards. Bryce had his first good game out of 7. Good job. Stroud has been the better QB overall since the beginning of the season. The game came down to a field goal too, so big whoop.

Agree with this. Home game and coming off a bye and pulled one out. Not that great. Stroud will have a far better career. I don't believe BY will be in the league in 5 seasons.

Mahomes played sick but yes, of course, everyone knows Russell is way better

I'm just pointing out the silliness of the argument is all. Its like if we had PJ Walker and we beat the Chargers with Justin Herbert, trying to pretend like we wouldn't absolutely trade Walker for Herbert because Walker has a W over him and played better in a game. We all know Herbert is better but he doesn't always win.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
