Well damn who should we hire?

again, a young offensive mind.   and both windows made sense to it (Rhule and Frank).

not retreads.  not old guys.   I haven't spent the time to invest who we should because we are going to be stuck with Frank for 1 more season.

And that's my issue we will be "stuck" with Frank for 1 more season. Tepper doesn't realize he's wasting years for coaches who are not the answer short or long-term.

Again I don't trust any HC he hires. It has to be a HC who has full control and I don't think Tepper will ever allow that to happen.

I don't wanna trade Moton.

Christensen at LT is definitely an option but I don't know that it's the best long term option.

Why, both Moton and Ickey are very tradable in this scheme. Whatever, no one in charge will do anything halfway decent so it's just us blowing smoke anyways. There isn't a player on the entire roster I really would care if they traded, it's just the pain of knowing any draft assets received will be wasted in the end anyways that makes it pointless I guess.

Again.  Problem was Tepper gave full control to a college hack who had no business being a NFL head coach, let alone have full control of personnel decisions.

Because he actually does work in our current scheme and we've already got enough rebuilding to do without making it worse.

Then spend the year building up Ickey at LT and trade his but for a first. He looked worth a 1st at the end of last year. OGs shouldn't be that expensive and it's not like Ickey can't play in all schemes out there.

I don't want to trade Ekwonu either. I just want to move him.

Nfl insiders were reporting it as well.

There were tweets on all four of the prospects. Young was the the most often, but there were guys who said Reich loved Richardson, Stroud and Young, which conflict with each other. We’ll never actually know because you don’t even know what tweets are for clicks and who the insiders are and whether or not they were sending out false messages. All I know is that we appear to have done something wrong and I have a really hard time thinking that an all star coaching staff including Reich would let an owner choose the QB for them.

Hard pass for me on forgoing a LT value to have him play a position that could be filled so easily every year in the draft and free agency. They should have traded him as a LT when they switched the oline scheme and he no longer fit that position.

I get it but that's where I gotta disagree.

You can't get rid of a guy that quick, especially someone out of rookie contract.

    • I need to actually do a full analysis but I think the issue was more that we'd rarely have top-to-bottom awesome drafts but we'd frequently have drafts where only 2-3 players panned out, but the 1st is a Pro Bowler and the other two solid starters or backups. We rarely had drafts where only 1 player was good, and we never had absolute useless drafts. At the very least we always had one really, really good guy. The worst was probably 2005 where we got Thomas Davis (Hall of Honor-quality player) and Geoff Hangartener. Evan Mathis was good, but only after he left.
    • Hurney wasn’t good with contracts but I think he was probably above average at drafting.  Not saying he was great.  Just that most draft classes are worthless.
    • Ehh, teams earlier this season double and tripled teamed him with decent success. The reason he beasted out so much with Miami was for some reason they did not much at all. Bad call on their part. But that is his purpose. If he is eating up people that is huge, and theoretically should give others the ability to make a play. But his surrounding cast to do that isn’t great. Brown is something OCs have to put a lot of time to plan for.
