Half-way clean pockets and open receivers have been few and far between also. Let's tell the truth.

I didn't say that. I'm simply asking for folks to honestly point out more than a few plays he's made that you wouldn't expect a basic NFL roster caliber QB to be able to make. That's the problem.

I don’t know when most people on this forum became a bunch of fuging whiners.

it’s clear as day that we have a significant number of problems on offense. People much more adept at analyzing football than any of us  have consistently shown that.

BUT…BUT…WAAAA Bryce young isn’t CJ stroud. Who cares. We made the pick, he still has a tremendous amount of potential to be a great qb. He shas had some bad games and some good ones. But let’s just put it all on Bryce young.

Colts had the #32 pass defense and Bryce threw 3 picks, he must be the next Jimmy Clausen!!!! Just chill people. Dude is 7 games into his career.

These takes are just as if not more obnoxious than the posts being complained about. Claiming some level of superiority because you lick boots and let people poo on your head while gladly asking for more does not make you pure. No one is required to simply be happy to be here and have a franchise when we're the biggest joke in the league.

We scored the most points of the season with Andy Dalton and the same OL and WR's on the road.

You guys want to throw everything and the kitchen sink into the blame pile. I get it. It's tough to accept our #1 pick is playing so poorly. Cope if you must lash out and poo posts if it makes you feel better my guy.

Ok.

Dalton is a better player right now, I have no issues with that.

Bryce also his problems.  No issue saying that.  I'm just sick of there not being a real discussion about the team/personnel/etc. The other poo makes a huge difference.  A QB cannot succeed here currently.  Don't care who it is.

I poo all the ignorance.

So like I said, this chart is nice.  CJ's offense has some real talent at getting the ball deep and he takes advantage.   Bryce's offense has nothing and he isn't helping them either.

It's easy to cherry pick.

Dalton is trash. Our #1 pick should be at minimum a push in comparison.

You say you want to talk about all the other factors and stop only critiquing the QB.

Then turn around and suggest CJ Stroud is playing with elite WR's.

Sir. His leading WR last weekend had barely 900 career yards over 5 seasons entering the game. You are coping hard.

He's made a few very good plays off script, and has thrown into some tight windows. You're acting like he hasn't done anything. The point is that you want to give him an NFL caliber O-line and better weapons in order to see more of those plays. At this point, he's looking kinda like a chicken with his head cut off, somewhat frenetic too much of the time, and the origin is really below par O-line play and no one that really scares anyone on the opposite side of the ball.

Stroud is outplaying Bryce. It's not close.  I'm not arguing that.

His situation(scheme, OL play, WR play) is 100000x better than Bryce's currently.   If you don't accept that, you are being willfully ignorant.

He's made a handful of really nice plays. He's made a lot more worrisome plays. There's a reason why it's becoming a topic of conversation even among the national media. Odds are at this point that he's gonna be a bust.

I think Stroud has better coaching for sure. Which is a damn shame considering we didn't even give DeMeco Ryans a sniff and our social team spent the whole offseason hyping up these dinosaurs on our staff.

His OL is better but not as much as some people claim. Our defense has been up and down at best and we roughed up CJ a good bit in our matchup. How did all that elite talent he supposedly is surrounded with look? The difference is even if he has an off game Stroud has the arm talent to make any throw he wants without putting his entire body into it. CJ is simply more naturally gifted. Everyone got to see that with their own two eyes on his game tape and now he is doing the same thing in the NFL.

I think you're leading with emotion instead  of logic and we've reached an impasse on this discussion. Enjoy the game tonight.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm fairly sure that most rookies, even some HoFers are closer to Bryce Young's level of production and understanding than C.J. Stroud's. I'd also bet that their lines weren't as porous as ours.

You've missed Brandt's (and others') whole point.

"Elite talent?" 😆 He doesn't necessarily have elite talent, but it's proven to be a helluva lot better than ours. Any NFL analyst will tell you that. His weapons are legit.

Ryans declined our request for an interview. What does that tell you?

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
