I'd have a stroke if we got those players.

That's some 1st round talk with jenkins, I mean if the Panthers had a hole at DT, he be one of my top picks at 33 or 39.

early in the draft process trice was getting 1st round buzz too, then for no reason I can can find, he's dropping. He had a decent combine/pro day and interviewed well too....must be some agent BS or medical stuff.

Still wouldn't shock me if both are gone before 50.

Trice did a post combine interview and mentioned that he puts mayonnaise in his coffee.  It was all down hill from there.  /jk

Traded a 3rd in 2025.

That's pretty insane if you think about it. Would mean we don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick next year year. Combine that with us spending a poo ton of cap space this year its gonna put you in between  a rock and a hard space in the 2025 off season

We really gotta get out of the habit of trading away future high round picks.

You must have been pulling your hair out under Fitt then.

Only 4 days until draft day!! I did an interesting one where I didn't get a WR until the last pick. But I really addressed other needs pretty well and also regained a 2nd round pick for next year(we traded our original 2nd rounder in 2025 for Bryce to the Bears)

It's hard to blame you for going defense early. It might be the most likely possibility if the panthers aren't absolutely in love with the WR options

By all indications R1 should be full of QBs, OTs, and WRs for the most part. We could be getting something like #3 or ,#4 option in the draft at several defensive positions that's bit tantalizing especially with extra picks. And possibly the #1 or #2 LB, Center, RB, and TE.  LB stands out the most to me as the best value in R2. High high chance you're getting the best ILB in the draft at 33 and that's the position our gm played lol

    • You should because before the preseason fiasco and the start of the season fiasco, all the reports, including Frank’s responses, were that Fitterer and Reich were in lock step. Remember the press conference where Fitterer talked about both he and Frank saying who they wanted before and after the draft process and that they both picked Young and it was glorious? People got hung up on Tepper saying the point guard analogy in April when Brown was interviewed by a Panthers reporter describing how a QB needs to be a point guard in huge detail. That was in February. I think Tepper was just parroting Brown to make himself look like he knew what he was doing. Mrs. Tepper hugging Bryce always overshadowed CJ saying how he called her Mama Tepp. We fuged up as a team, probably more so because Fitterer always said he had Young as his #1 the year before, probably because we looked at all the QBs that year as well. Reich’s love for CJ started when he got on the hot seats for frankly doing a horrific job. He's been in the league a long time and has a lot of media friends and that was a face saving CYA which we know well with many years of Hurney. Still amazing to think how much better the team was under Rhule/Hurney before Fitterer got any control when Rhule was on the hot seat.
    • I loved jStew but let’s not forget he was almost always held out from practice  due to some nagging injuries
