12 is a good number. Doesn't matter how many teams are in, there's always going to be teams with a legit argument they got snubbed from the field but if you're on the bubble of a 12 team playoff you don't have a realistic shot anyway.

WTF do you go for it on 4th and 7 in FG range for you opponent when you have 3 timeouts left? You are down 7 so you’re giving FSU a 10 point lead if you don’t get it. I don’t get not punting and hoping your D stops them and you call 3 timeout but you are only down 7.

This. I mean, Ohio St lost just once. To the best team in the country. GA lost just once ... last game of the season (an "extra" game not even historically played), Bama lost just once, Texas lost just once. What is the criteria?

FSU is in. They have zero losses. Michigan is in. Washington is in.

      Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.

      After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...

      My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
