Bryce Young Cannot Make Basic NFL Throws

But seriously though this horrid season might be a blessing in disguise. Did we really want another Cam Newton/Ron Rivera situation? Where the #1 pick QB is constantly overcoming the horrendous coaching decisions being made thus keeping him employed for longer than he should have been? Frank was clearly not going to be the answer here. And hopefully Fitterer is fired for the mess he created as well. If this season accomplishes that at a minimum our future is already brighter. If Bryce can't improve with hopefully a better HC hire (can it really be worse than the last 2?) next season the new coach will probably bench him and we will be in prime position to draft the top QB in '25. That's honestly how I'm looking at this entire situation. Bryce deserves a chance with hopefully a better coach and team around him then after that we'll see what happens.

Check this lovely picture in the article.  His EYES ARE CLOSED WHILE HE IS THROWING…..

You don't understand. Bryce was using the technique of positive visualization, which is one of the many advanced tools at his disposal that justified his high draft position.

Either hope he gets better with a better HC hire next year or go root for another team or not watch football at all. What other option is there other than cheering against your favorite team? Who honestly roots for their team to fail? Seems like a pointless concept does it not?

Hope isn't a realistic plan but if that's where you are at now God bless because you are at rock bottom

Oh but your "realistic" plan is to give up on a #1 overall pick after 1 season in which the entire team is bad. This is not an offense that is "one QB away" from consistently winning football games and if that's what you believe then you are further down than whatever rock bottom is

Nobody wants Bryce Young to fail and the team to have given up what we did for nothing. Acknowledging the full reality of the situation as it stands ≠ rooting for failure.

If you didn't go this hard in defense of Baker Mayfield Sam Darnold PJ Walker Teddy Bridgewater or Kyle Allen then just give it a rest.

I’ve never said move on.   I said he probably gets next year but I know how this movie ends.  He is too small too weak for the nfl.   If a coach can design a nfl offense for him to succeed in, I still doubt we can win playoff games in it as it’s going to be a dink and dunk version.

Uh, Reich tried, remember?  Everyone was b*tching about not pushing the ball downfield.  80%-90% of Bryce's passes were under 10 yards, heck a large portion were even behind the LOS.

I was referring to a more competent coach and a more competent system because to be honest I have no clue what reich and brown were trying to do with young.  I truly think that they built an offense, drafted young and quickly realized this kid cannot execute it due to many reasons and they were poo out of luck

Bingo.  Expecting the #1 overall player to execute in the NFL was a foolish expectation for them.

This is why a Frank Smith of Miami makes sense if we're going for an offensive coach.  Lots of motion, effective game planning/use of formations, and works with a physically limited yet accurate QB.  It's up to the new GM and coach to figure out an OL that can work for that kind of offense.  I think we need more dancing bears than maulers for something resembling the Miami offense.

We'll also need legit playmaking WRs.  Anyone know if Hill is a FA? Ha ha...

Don't worry, I'm sure the Teppers can do that....  =P  Or is that too soon for a bad joke?

Honestly, who knows?  How many HCs can also be effective play caller?  How many play callers have the ability to lead?  So..???  I have no clue!

Personally: I want the Panthers to get the best HC, not smartest offensive brain.  We need someone to lead the team, and then we can work with the rest.

    • It wasn’t completely his fault, but outside of two throws and one or two scrambles he didn’t do much to help. His accuracy was all over the place, numerous passes that were placed poorly and didn’t give the receiver a good chance to catch the ball or do anything with it after. He also continues to display terrible pocket awareness. Even the sacks could have been avoided, they weren’t immediate like the pressure we got on Shough at times. Bryce just often has no feel for pressure and stands there waiting to get sacked after numerous seconds have passed.
    • I really fuging hate this era in so many ways.  I look at those Adin Ross and Neon kids, and I just wonder why tf are they famous?  Why would anyone be desperate enough to gain THAT audience that they’d risk money, career, disciplinary action to go up there and associate with those fuging dweebs?  And back in my day, racist peers got their ass beat.  And not endorsing or approving bully culture, but checks and balances and all…  had those two been bullied, or at the very least humbled, they wouldn’t be famous and glorified for being the fuging idiots they are now.  It seriously pisses me off… they both have done and said multiple, openly racist stuff and major media keeps pushing them, talking about them, and propping them up… and then dummies like Puka who don’t need the platform or exposure lend their celebrity to them.  fuging idiot… and even the other streamers, I don’t get - Speed, Kai…  I don’t understand making nobodies famous at all, but there is at least entertainment value to some degree there, and I could see how young, impressionable kids would find them something to aspire to (sadly), or view as “cool.”  But Ross and Neon?  They’re just shitty, shitty nerds with big ass mouths. I’ve went back recently and watched some classics (in two very different eras and categories 😂)  like Robocop and Idiocracy.  And what I find fascinating is how both movies illustrate how stupid society became by showing what the citizenry is entertained by.  In both, society became anti-intellectual and the citizenry were entertained by lowest denominator, primal-type absurdity - poo like, “Ouch! My Balls!”  Or on Robocop, a guy is a watching a show where they are smashing cakes on ladies’ breasts and then a guy says a line as the camera zooms in like, “I’d buy that for a dollar!” and the audience thinks it’s hilarious.  That’s where I feel like we are now.  Like who watches that clip with Puka and thinks any of that poo is funny or cool?  If I was Puka, I’d honestly be wondering why tf I’m hanging out with these beta ass, racist, cretin ass weirdos.
    • 7 wins this year and some of those against really good teams and yall think Canales might get fired? Lol Good luck getting a better coach in here if that happens.
