Tepper hasn’t liked Cam since that video came out with Cam asking how he made his money, seemed to irritate Tepper…

Cam is a confident individual who doesn't hold back and bite his tongue. I haven't seen any indication that Tepper would be too tolerant of folks like that. The one guy who he's let hang around that I thought would be that guy (Smitty) has sadly pretty much turned into a lapdog. I don't think it's a coincidence that Tepper went all in on a QB prospect who comes across as one of the most timid acting franchise QB prospects I've ever seen. I mean, think about it. Have you ever seen a guy who was tabbed as a potential franchise QB at any point whether it was leading up to the draft or a non-1st round pick who showed promise at some point act as sheepish as Bryce does? It's weird. Most football folks would be turned off by that. Then you have Scott Fitterer at GM who took what was essentially a GM in title only role without final roster say to be a wet nurse for a college coach who was floundering. Real viable GM candidates with ambition don't take that job. A lot of fans have talked about how we don't have any dogs on this team and lack "alphas" (as cringe as that term is) but I just don't think Tepper is likely to tolerate those types for long.

Unfortunately an organization needs those types because not every person can be that type. When I think about it you are right, I dont think we have one of those types at all.

    • Not many are talking about this player. He played well as a rookie last year. If he refines his blocking, continues studying film, and keeps working hard, I can see him being the next Greg Olsen. I’m expecting 55 catches, 700 yards, 4 TDs this season.
    • I'm not a Bryce hater and I would 100% move on.  Especially looking at how the upcoming qb draft looks on paper.  Hopefully he continues to improve but if in 3 seasons you're still chasing average season numbers then he's not going to be the guy.  You've just got to keep taking swings until you hit.  Average qbs without any elite physical traits cant get it done anymore.  So this year Hopefully he continues to develop and is above average statistically.
    • Meltdowns???? He was pulled by Canales because he wasn't executing the game plan after 2 games into the season so he could watch Dalton execute the offense and show Bryce the windows available in the NFL, how to push the ball down the field and how to step up and move around when blitzed. When Young came back 5 games later he clearly watched and improved. Enough he was named the future starter. He doesn't have a history of  meltdowns nor is there any reason to assume he will have one. From what I have read he is mentally strong and emotional stable. He may have bad games down the road, everyone does. But this is all a learning experience for him and so far he seems to be making progress. I can understand being hesitant on anything Panthers, but Young has surprisingly been able to gain his confidence after a disastrous start. You aren't alone in being cautious but I think he is the future. I thought he was too small and too short to succeed in the NFL. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised last year and am optimistic about the offense for the first time since Wilks and Dalton were decent.
