You can play that game all day. Plenty of talented players went AFTER their pick as well. How about Tank Dell?

That is the point though, why trade down? Thats a Scott Fitterer special. THE MORE THE MERRIER!!!

Also happens to be a complete disaster of a draft.

Hard pass. Be good at evaluation, take BPA.

Good at evaluating is the key. You can miss on 33 just as easy as 42. If we get someone who can evaluate well trading down makes sense with all the holes we have.

Yeah, I just disagree. We have our pick of the 33rd guy overall and a complete extra day to break it down. Just take the best guy.

No reason to get cute.

This is a multi year rebuild; can’t fix it all in one year.  Addressing the OP’s immediate question…

1.  WR that can get separation.  No slots, please.

2.  LT

3.  C/G

Assumptions:  BC gets first shot at LT next year.  Ickey is moved inside and competes against Zavala, Mays, others for a starting spot at LG.  C/G pick backs up Bozeman and Corbett.  LT pick backs up BC and Moton.

Go run heavy.  Re-sign Foreman, admitting our mistake in letting him walk.

Bryce gets one more year to demonstrate that he is or is not capable of being an NFL starter.  If Bryce disappoints in 2024, we draft higher in 2025 and pick Bryce’s replacement.

2024 is going to be butt ugly, no matter what we do.  Might as well sort out our WR and O line issues in 2024, setting up Bryce or his 2025 replacement for more success.

I think the Panthers will have to build via free agency due to trading away so many valuable draft picks. There are so many holes it is impossible to fill them with the draft. The key is getting the right GM and HC…..and making sure they are strong enough to tell Tepper to back off.

    • We have taken two TEs in three seasons I think, and Sanders may not pan out or it may have been a sophomore slump, but we took a guy last year that was coming on.  I am not in favor of TE in round one and really don’t consider it a high priority in any round.
    • Trevon Moehrig, Turk Wharton, Bobby Brown, Jaelen Phillips, Devin Lloyd, Nic Scourton Giving him 6 starters in 2 offseasons that cost boat loads of money or a 2nd round pick... Not exactly handing the man scraps. The point of the draft is to make the team better. You want to make this about Bryce. It isn't. It's about improving the team. And if anyone can look at our offense and go "we're good", they are lying to themselves. You give quarterbacks weapons. We SCREAMED for YEARS to give Cam some help. But now because we are trying to do it for Bryce, you all are saying we are coddling him because of his "deficiencies". It's a double-standard because you don't like the guy, clearly. But even if he does fail, guess what? The next guy has help too. Win-win.
    • we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least.  We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations.   We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy.  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.  If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts.  Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go.  ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now.    "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......."   Its fuging never ending.  Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
