I mean we could have Morgan posting here with info but huddle azzholes chased him away with horrible concussion jokes....

but was his restaurant a serious business venture or a money laundering cover which I often wonder when professional athletes and wealthy people want to open something dumb like a coal pizza restaurant

Wasn’t it two side by side restaurants? I can’t remember.  I ate at the pizza joint.  Was thinking a Tea name for the other.

we don't need to be keeping anyone. not from this front office. not from this coaching staff.

you let a new GM pick his own staff and you don't let any of the stench from this current administration stick around. i get it. Morgan is a guy we like because he has a history with us... we need to get past that poo. just let him go and start over fresh.

you let a new HC pick his coaching staff and you don't stick him with anyone that isn't his first choice.

i don't care how much anyone succeeds after leaving here. we need to leave this poo in the past and start over. no hangovers or leftovers. empty the fridge and the freezer and the pantry out and start over.

and yes....it's going to be expensive for tepper. serves that moron right.

You really want Tepper to tell the new HC the job comes with 2/3rds of the coordinator gigs already filled?

Yeah, that’s not usually how that works. Any coach coming to this franchise will want complete control over staff.

You really want more ?’s at every coaching position?

We supposedly had an all star cast in the offseason. Tabor and Evero are the only coaches who have statistical success on the year.

Who should it come for?

every coach

at a minimum Fitterer, Morgan and everyone at the very top that oversaw all this horrific nonsense from a talent aspect.

Im a burn it down guy.  Some are emotionally attached to Morgan. I don’t think its worth figuring who all the horrific decisions were greenlighted by.  Get rid of them all.  I seriously doubt Dan was against everything.  For all we know he is just as bad as everyone else and was in agreement

    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
    • At the end of the day we're all holding our breath in anticipation waiting to see if Bryce Young will look and play horribly to begin his fourth season just as he has in his first three seasons. No cherry picking obscure metrics or screaming about haters will change that.
    • Cam seems to be eager to put the onus moreso on himself and that speaks to his personal growth as a man. He even mentions that maybe he was too hyperfocused on wins and losses which is crazy to consider when you account for the fact that our culture was so pitiful when he arrived and 89 is supposed to be considered the ultimate competitor. While Steve leans on his unspecified trauma as his reasoning for how he was toward a rookie QB and other people in general which makes no sense whatsoever considering this is the guy who physically attacked his own teammates in his younger years. The only positive if you could consider it so that I'm getting from Steve Smith in this convo is the fact that he is actually willing to speak about it with Cam. But he does not seem to want to recognize what he threw away at that time and the cost to both himself and the franchise.
