Panthers interview requests

I want nothing to do with any of the Eagles personnel. They’ve arguably been the worst team in the NFL over the past three weeks and as national pundits have stated, their offense is easy to defend.

They use motion less than any team in the NFL and don’t cause opposing defenses to have to adjust at all. There’s nothing confusing or interesting about the Eagles offense and it all relies on elite execution by the players.

No thank you.

The only way I can imagine these folks promoting Morgan to GM is if they are bringing in one of these guys to serve as President/Ops Director/etc.

That opens up AGM for somebody like an Adrian Wilson or similar.

That could explain why a majority of our pool has been contracts & financial types.

Have a few to look at instead of Dan with scouting and personnel experience but then a net of options that is more complimentary.

Agree, nobody on their current staff should be considered (outside the p-line coach, but he’s not going anywhere).

The same goes for Dan Quinn. Don’t see the appeal in him at all. Cowboys defense beat up on bad teams and faltered against good opponents. Very overrated.

That doesn't mean the interview was eliminated.. it means they were eliminated from the playoffs.

Might as well be. Last thing we need to do with the state our franchise has been in is hire anyone from these teams that immediately faceplanted the moment they got into the playoffs

While I agree, just clearing up confusion.

    • I do not know if Freeling is ready, I know he also spent day after day against Georgia's best edge/DE factory.    * I do know Walker will not stay long as a backup, this is his best chance to get a bag that somehow missed him this year.    Panthers could use a top level DLman in the rotation and LT are rare to have, even 3 year decent play ones...   Icky is trying to make it back and its a 6-12 months deal.   Again feels like DL is the best solution.   Bungals signed Allen in FA and have 2 other starter DTs. Kris was a monster at michigan and just hasn't broke out.    Walker should be the best trade piece to improve this years team and a young former son of a panther great flop in the trade idea....
    • He played under Rhule, yes. Not sure if he was recruited by him.
    • so Monroe Freeling started only 17 games at LT in college . he was drafted because  primarily of his physical traits  size & raw athletism.   most all scouting reports on Monroe Freeling said basically the same thing that he had alot of potential  but  more than likely would  require time & coachiing to refine issues related to his technique prior to starting at LT in the NFL ...just saying
