Florio pointed out, a bit jokingly but said he does wonder about what the TB ownership group might be thinking right now regarding Canales. Would they ever think of firing Bowles in order to keep Canales (ala Dirk Koetter)? It seems unlikely but losing someone they may view in high regard in division might make people do crazy things.

Judging by the requests made (or not made) compared to availability status, we don't appear to be continuing with Bobby Slowik, Frank Smith, Dan Quinn or Chris Tabor.

Brian Callahan is out. Brian Johnson was never in.

Ben Johnson, Todd Monken and Mike McDonald are all still in the playoffs and can't be interviewed till next week.

Our second interview list currently stands as Dave Canales, Raheem Morris, and Ejiro Evero.

I for one, am relieved for the names in bold. Bobby is an odd one this cycle. I won't believe he takes a job until he actually takes one.

    • Those last two plays before the last FG, we could have burned them so hard - but it is risky with even a better QB. But not sure they would have used that strategy against a better QB.  In any case Rico had no hope of breaking through that.
    • One more win and it matches Wilks’ win total, he was the leader of the last 5-6 years. You have to go back to Tepper’s first year where Rivera won 7 to beat it. He won 5 the year he was fired.
    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
