The Bills got cute and didn’t get CMC, now that team needs to be blown up

You have yet to show me where I actually hated on Josh Allen?

I called him overrated because the hype and the success is not adding up. I called him Brett Farve Jr. with his decision making.

Comparing him to a HOF QB is hating?

Just because I don't worship him like most doesn't mean I'm hating.

Josh Allen has made the playoffs every year of his career except this rookie season.   Seems to be rated about right if you ask me.

No one that I see here is worshipping Josh Allen.

Good thing you don't watch ESPN.

post rookie season

playoffs every season

averages 40.4 total TDs a season.

I mean I don't watch ESPN, but the average for Josh Allen is a dream season for a Panther fan.  Is ESPN saying he is Tom Brady? If not, I don't see how he is overrated.

I think Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL.  Then you got to start talking about guys like Josh Allen.

Depends on the situation. The goal isn't to make the playoffs, it's to win the SB. If you don't think you're getting closer to that ultimate goal at some point you have to do something different. There's also salary cap situations, aging players naturally declining, etc. to consider.

Yeah, but has blowing up a perennial playoff team ever worked?

Yes they are comparing him to Brady/Manning. Do you think I'm calling him overrated for nothing?

I've never seen anyone compare Josh Allen to Tom Brady.  Or Peyton Manning.

I have seen some suggest this era of fans have a Mahomes/Allen battle to enjoy year after year in the AFC now.  Sometimes a Burrow thrown in there.   Which is largely true.  It's the best QBs of the era going to head to head on repeat.  Prior era had Brady/Manning.

Which is why I said you don't watch ESPN.

Maybe the real problem is that you still watch ESPN and not Allen or anything anyone really thinks about him that isn't from hot take for central?

Allen's work stands by itself. He is a good QB. ESPN is and has been trash so if they are comparing him to Payton/Manning then not watching that garbage might be the answer you really need?

Good point. Kind of hard for me to avoid it because I watch sports 80% of the time. Maybe I need to get back on my Netflix n Chill.
