He could be a very good QB on a team like Minnesota that will put a lot of talent around him. But if Kevin O'Connell is going to try to throw the ball 70% of the game, Darnold is going to look like he always has.

Purely a stop-gap.  You will know by the contract when (if) this gets done.

We need to move Burns for picks.  I could see us double dipping but we need to find a future starting C in this draft, as well.
