Sam Howell traded to Seattle

I'm personally a big fan of package trades that have the even draft asset distribution.

I.E. We have the first 4th rounder, first 5th, and an extra 5th.  Something like our 4th and later 5th (166 from SF) for a late 3rd and 6th would be an interesting move come draft day if an impact guy falls in that late 3rd range.

So he dropped in value after playing a year?

I don't know if the math per that chart value is correct but if it is it's safe to just disregard that value chart moving forward. In no universe would you be able to trade 102 + 179 + 199 for 78 and 152.

Using the standard trade chart you'd land at a 70ish point difference, the equivalent of a mid-4th.

*Okay, went and looked at that draft value chart and didn't bother doing the math because the chart is laughably absurd. According to that chart you could trade up from #32 to #22 in the 1st round simply by tossing in the last pick of the draft. It wildly overvalues late round picks. That chart is trash.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
