Brooks doesn't hit the hole like Chuba, I'm taking Chuba when you need that 1 yard since we apparently don't want a true power back

Brooks hits that hole just fine. The guys got some power. There was a few goal line battles that I saw him not be able to get it in, but honestly it was as much because the OL couldn't make any headway as anything and they all got through to him. I think it was games against Bama, Wyoming, and one other (green unis...Baylor?) that I saw it and he was covered by defensive players. I mean they had to have had 6-8 on him and they just swallowed him up.

I saw a lot of between the tackle runs and hed just punch through. Rarely he got taken down by 1 or 2 players. You'd have to gang tackle him. He also rarely went down on first or second contact, either. Guy would just hit and get hit and he'd be pushing and dragging guys.

The best was those moments where he just saw a crease and busted through and go for big yards and he did that a lot. I didn't look at the stats but the guy was just big play after big play.

Also, you saw him dance from time to time, but it was always forward motion. He didn't run backwards or sideways to find openings. It was always forward motion.

Nah he’s a weaver not a pounder. He can make guys miss and break arm tackles but he doesn’t push anyone back. The panthers still don’t have a short yardage back on the roster

He can and does do both. It's not often, but he did it in almost every game I saw.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
