Multiple sports media outlets reporting the contract extension for RBA might be off the table.

Luke DeCock started this whole thing during the fugging playoffs when we should be focused on the playoffs not RBA. Which I’m sure he’s gonna say today. Drager chimed in after the fact to spin poo.

It’s probably the Seattle ownership or the fugging rags that put the “offer pulled” message out to fug with us.

Moral of the story, I guess playoffs don’t get enough clicks now so they have to inflame something that isn’t even on the table yet.

Not buying this at all. Tom has shown he won’t be cheap. RBA made it clear he wants to be here. RBA has had one of the best starts ever to a career as a head coach. And the Canes have gone from one of the worst teams in the league with low attendance to a premier team with a rejuvenated fan base. If there is any smoke, I would assume it’s all part of the negotiation and it will get done in the end.

Nothing burger here....  stupid media trying to create "drama"

Or the Rags, or Seattle ownership… or rods agent or Donny Wads(that would be low during a playoff run to put out publicly).

This is the nothing burger of all nothing burgers it's literally just the NHL media trying to create playoff drama for the Canes....

Rod wants to be here..... the CANES WANT ROD HERE.

RBA has lived in Raleigh since he retired from playing he loves it here....

The coach who got us 6 straight playoff appearances

That would make has much sense has Kansas City firing Andy Reid , and Trading Pat Mahommes and 3 1st round picks for Bryce Young

Yes, it will be severely dissapointing if we don't win it all this year, but don't shoot the horse that got you here!!

    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
    • Thank you for all the release metaphors!  It's helped make my morning 😃 But no...just eww..
