Want that dude nowhere near the team, dude is a bigger show boat than Cam but half the ability.

And especially after not seeing what he had to say about a former team mate that criticized him(Sanders) for never making an effort to know him. Sanders went as far as far to tweet that he had no idea who the dude was and he had to have been “mid at best”. Bro your team finished 4-8, chill.

good content for the timeline, but not what you want in a franchise QB. I fundamentally question his ability to face adversity most importantly, gel with the rest of an NFL locker room without his dad running the show.  He seems like the type of dude to constantly give other teams ammunition, but never good enough to warrant it.

would gladly take Travis hunter tho

I get all that personal vendetta you have against him but thats not how this works. Teams will look whether further than all the stuff you just said....plus he has whole new year of evaluation to determine his status. Highlighting all the negative themes and ignoring the positive isnt gonna get him passed up. He has already shown an elite skillset and if shows even more improvement this year he will be the first pick. If guys like penix and nix can go top 15 sanders will definitley go hire no matter how much people dont like him.

Some of the huddlers here will only be happy with Patrick Mahomes as our QB. They would legit complain if we had Josh Allen and pine for an upgrade. They won't admit it but they know who they are 😆

Listen, we've been a franchise for almost 30 years, and not once did most Panther fans like the quarterback we have. Cam reached I'd say an 80% approval rate in 2015, but it was back to being in the 50's following the SB. "We will never win anything with Cam as our QB" was a strong narrative on here after the SB.

Did you figure that one out all by yourself? LOL

please explain the difference between saying you aren’t writing someone off, but then also saying you don’t think he’s good enough. sounds like pretty much like the same damn thing to me.

oh sorry, forgot to add the LOL, because being a condescending douche is a requirement on todays huddle.

Sanders played last season with his personal stat line in mind.  And did his OL no favors even if you want to call them trash.    And I think you can legitimately question his DNA as a leader present day.

Penix and Nix both played big boy college football....and won.  Sanders won 4 games at Colorado and is on 6 game losing stretch.

Go back and read. I said I'm not completely writing him off. But yeah, at this point I'd honestly be borderline shocked if he works out.

You're the one who acted like a condescending douche while failing at reading comprehension. Don't get butthurt about it. Ice up son.

Love how this has already turned into the same few posters rehashing their same talking points from every other Bryce Young related thread and completely ignoring the video.

That's why I rarely read what anyone else says on threads like these. Opinions aren't really going to change in the offseason, only once actual football is being played.

I don't envy anyone having to watch last season's tape, however. So many things went wrong that even just getting a realistic opportunity to succeed for anyone was too few and far between.

And yet Bryce had the 14th longest time to throw in the league. That’s pretty average.

If you watched the video, they discussed how Bryce was constantly in retreat on his drops. I bet the "time to throw" stats would look a lot different if he didn't retreat.

We all watched last year. If you want to argue our IOL play was average, go right ahead. I wont be joining you.

video also says QB Bryce was horrible pre snap and post snap.   That's how you make whatever your OL is......look way worse.    And he wasn't good at that at Bama either per the guy in the video.

He also spoke about how Bryce's size forces him too far back in the pocket.  Which is going to screw up pass pro.

that video/analysis did bryce and his supporters no favors, but anyone with a brain can see his bunny rabbit hops and long slow drop backs are a huge issue

    • If we divide the league up into quarters you need to be able to make 8 worse starting QBs for him not to be bottom tier. Who are they?
    • It just doesn't add up to what we're watching. It feels like you're trying to convince yourself that Bryce can just make a few adjustments and pan out. You say he turns the ball over because he's over aggressive and I just don't see that. A lot of his turnovers are just bad throws oftentimes because the balls sails in him. The fumble issues? I mean, you have the smallest QB in the NFL getting hit by extremely large powerful kej who knows based on film study that this guy is prone to coughing up the ball. If you're being hit by a much larger, much more powerful man intent on removing the ball from your possession you're gonna lose that battle a decent amount of the time. I think some of it is due to bad footwork but some of it is also that when there's traffic in front of him he has to try to get the ball up and over that pressure due to his lack of height. His release point it just several inches lower than most NFL QBs, no way around it. You saying it's more difficult than simply looking at outcomes while completely leaning on situational stats to try to convince people their eyes are lying to them and Bryce's arm isn't a significantly limiting factor in his game. Some people are hyperbolic about his lack of arm strength but honestly he has one of the weakest arms in the league. That's just reality if you objectively watch him play versus other NFL QBs. If he had time in a clean pocket and can step up into and through his throw he can make most throws but that's the problem, for him to make the tougher throws everything has to go perfect. If there's pressure pushing him off his spot or pressure in front of him where he can't step up or has to try to loft the pass over the scrum it's probably ending in a poor result. The problem is that's a commonplace scenario in the NFL. It wasn't at Alabama. Trust your own QB analytical system. Bryce being very the bottom of the league matches up perfectly with the eye test of just watching him olay
    • If he wanted to be as irrelevant as possible in his final year he's achieving it.
