Blueprint: Episode two

T’s rep is that he is behind every decision personnel wise. This is a propaganda film. Does anyone really think T would ever approve a film portraying him in any negative way?

T has made the Panthers the laughing stock of all professional sports, in just a few years. The time for talk is over. You are what you are until you aren’t.

I mean the optics certainly blows considering we heard they were stepping back.

I have no issue with the team owner being in the room during Draft Day.

The improvement on the tape looked like the Tepps were not involved beyond casual conversations. It really looked like Dan and friends were running the show

What bothered me was the "what type of guys are we looking for" conversation.

I didn't get anything that wasn't obvious.

"We need a player that can block".  Ok -- don't we look for that every year?

I hope the stuff they cut out of the vid were things about WHY they felt a specific player met certain criteria that might be considered proprietary to our 2024 overall plan

heard this the other day on Tepper, believe what you will.

my buddy's neighbor works at BOA and he told my buddy that one of his co-workers at BOA went into the restroom, turned the lights off and said the name David Tepper 3 times into the mirror.   Needless to say, the man has never been seen again.

She inquired with Morgan about trading up if the guy "we both like" falls.  It was more of seeing what his game plan was.  I mean we did trade up, one spot at minimal cost. I swear a Tepper could sneeze and people on here would have a meltdown.

Win record is legit.  Crying over him being normal is just meaningless whining.  Sitting in a War Room while the GM and staff work the draft would be considered normal behavior.  Finding this 30 seconds he was on this video and freaking out is just overreaction and takes away from when he is legit meddling.

well, I don't think he is a "normal" owner.  I think he is a bad owner.  and if a PR video is going to show him at all.....then it's just a constant, hey don't forget, we have the worst owner in all of pro sports to a big % of the hardcore fanbase.  A very involved one.

I don't see how a quick clip of Tepper somehow should make people now think he isn't doing Tepper things just because the clip doesn't present that way.

    • Torn achilles.  The reason he was out more than half of last season.
    • When the panthers are bad, we sell a shockingly low number of jerseys, and options become limited. In the good years, we had a lot of different options. I think T-Mac is going to have to play well on the field for his jersey to get produced in the FUSE template.
    • it's not the only way to be a threat, it's certainly important for certain roles in an offense and for certain type players and offenses.  as is the ability to get open quickly and generate easy throws.   as far as Renfrow goes, I have consistently said he is sort of his own thing and not really in comp w/ others here.  It's a niche role/job.  Anyone talking about something else from him isn't me.  Just depends if we want to do what he does and if he can still do it.  as far as AT goes, yeah, he does lower our ceiling given the % of our offense that goes through him and his limitations at this stage in his career.    He should be a roleplayer, much like Renfrow should be if we want to insert what he does into the O....not an O being run through him.    Renfrow isn't going to lower the ceiling if used correctly.  Niche assignments to move chains.   It's like a short yardage RB that comes in to pick a random play.  Renfrow is best at that 3rd and 4 type scenario IMO. AT lowers the ceiling because we build the pass game off an old WR that shouldn't be the focal point of a pass attack.  Not to mention, Bryce Young is practically tailor made to get the ball in the hands of YAC players.   So you need those type on the field.
