Campbell is still starter quality, will push Moore for the start position but it will probably cost us a draft pick (probably 4th or 5th)..

Bulger is older and is past his prime. He could mentor Moore more but wont push him for the spot. He will be had cheap since he was released.

Other...?

I don't think a miss on this choice would have drastic long term effects on the team... and since I've been pretty impressed with Moore, I would say Bulger for his experience and the help he would give Moore. Campbell would be purely competition for Moore and wouldn't bring much else other than a backup role. Bulger would be a decent backup and a mentor for Moore.

tough call...

only reason I go with Campbell is because he can make sure moore doesnt think that everything is all of a sudden his so to say. and if moore flops, we have campbell. and like said above, we have one of the best O-lines in the NFL. (ONLY if we could get him for a this years 6th and next years 6th or 5th.

F__k Campbell and f__k Bulger...Keep 'em both. Bring in someone unknown/unproven to test Moore. That is how we got Matt, no? that is how we got Jake, no? Sleepers are harder to find, but I will leave that in more capable hands...

I say Bulger because we need a backup QB with enough talent and experience to start if the starter gets injured. He's good enough to push Moore to be better but not good enough to take his job. Campbell is not a bad choice either, but that would likely be an open competition. That and we need all the draft picks we can get this year.

Neither. I would've prefer Bulger if Panthers are force to pick one like they got a gun to their head. He wouldn't cost us some draft picks like Campbell would required. Like I said before, I doubt Campbell want to play where he won't be the starter after Fox clearly said Moore is the starter. If we don't get a QB in the Draft, I can see McCown & Cantwell as backups. Campbell isn't coming here.

    • No, the casual fan gets sucked into THIS^^^ kind of thinking, and it's so woefully incorrect that it's almost sad. The first is what I've said numerous times, NOTHING about non guaranteed contracts save the billionaire owners a single penny, because they still have to spend their cap floor, and the only reason teams ever don't spend the full limit, is to then roll it over into the next season to be able to spend more that year. But in the end, owners pay the same amount of money no matter what. The reverse is also the same, that the players in totality make the same amount of money as well, because in your example of Clowney not getting that money this year, it will go to another player, as the cap needs to be spent. And you say how we just cut Clowney after we gave him the 2 year contract, but everyone including Clowney's agent and himself, knew when it was signed, that it was more likely to be a 1 year contract than a 2 with how it was structured.  The 2nd year was just to be able to spread out the cap hit and he was always most likely going to end up getting traded or cut. It's why agents and players don't care about the total money in a contract, it's always and only been about the guaranteed money, as the years and overall value are meaningless, always have been, always will be.
    • Agents will have their 1st round picks hold out until the pay structure of their contract is to their liking, not how much money they'll get or even how much is guaranteed, just the when/how they will get the money over the course of the contract. If they're willing to recommend those players hold our, do you really think they won't do it for 2nd rounders to guarantee them an extra 10% of their entire rookie contract?
