Why didn't professor X just move his legs with his mind powers?!?!?

Because he couldn’t move things with his mind, like a Jean Grey who can do it.

he can only read and control peoples minds, but it’s not going to make his legs work lol

Okay, nerd time over

You’d be surprised how many times I’ve had this conversation with people over the years. It’s like when they find out cyclops eye beams aren’t lasers.

Back again, doesn't the mind control the legs?? Or the nervous system that sends the signal to move??

How did he press the chair buttons??...

You do realize that the mind can’t control your legs after you’ve been paralyzed due to a spinal injury, right?

it’s not like the part of his brain that control his legs stopped working.

and he was paralyzed from the waist down, he still has use of his arms and hands.

I think there was a bs comic reason why he couldn’t tell his legs to move.

Generally, when prof X is portrayed, he cannot move things with his mind. There are some iterations or instances when he does have telekinesis, but it’s very weak, so maybe that’s what was happening in this clip.  In the main comic universe, he is just a powerful telepath with the ability to move a stapler every now and then.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
