My idea....  Swap next year's 7th rounder to the Lions for Steven Gilmore.  Then sign Stephon Gilmore to a hometown discount deal.  I'd double down on Gillis'!!!

The younger Gilmore is most likely getting cut from the Lion's anyway.

Save 200k cutting him! lol. $7.5m dead cap 200k savings. A Sanders trade could give us $6m if someone is insanely desperate but even our RB5 Mike Boone is balling out apparently. You don't pay RB's not named CMC or maybe Barkley

It was a silly signing.  Seems to make more sense to draft a RB every 2-3 years.

There are several long in the tooth corners sitting at home besides Gilly- including P. Peterson and X. Howard.

Adoree Jackson and JC Jackson are vets sitting on their couch somewhere too. 
 

Not any obvious connections for any of those guys to EJ or Canales.

I’d be surprised if we didn’t roll with what we have until someone hits waivers or is cut.

Someone will go down on a playoff team and Gilmore will be there waiting.  I think we're ok at corner as long as Horn can finally stay healthy.  I really don't think it's going to make or break this season.  Plus it appears we may finally have good safety play.

Yeah I don't think there's a rush to get it done before the roster cuts. Maybe a bottom churning guy to take reps if there's another injury this week

Luckily it sounds like Hill, Bootle, Jamison, and Lamar Jackson are all having good camps. For once the answer might be on the roster

Was anyone else left with a bad taste in their mouth after Gilmore talked about being home and loved being here, but then has been doing nothing but money hunting around ever since? I would be fine if he never comes back. Im tired of liars.
