Very interesting.

Three times eh?

What was the reason for the lack of "philosophical alignment"? I've been told it was basically unanimous regarding Young being the pick.

Probably Bryce not being the type QB that could just insert into what coaches did/do

Canales going to have to have the same problem

Translation.  Reich set up offense for Stroud.   Young could nor run it so they adapted.   Young could not run that so they had to start from scratch

That's a bit of a jump to conclusions mat.  Could be.  Or it could be that nothing was working, so they scrapped it a few times.  Either way its not a good look.

We are so fuged for the foreseeable future.

They are just trying to find  a sweet spot for the half pint pinto to succeed...Rather than trying to focus on normal football sht you have to jump thru hoops to make something viable by accommodating someone with inferior skills...

Im sure a terrible O line and slow WRs had nothing to do with it.

I still hold to the theory that their QB tunnel vision during the off season resulted in them not grasping how dire the OL, WR, TE situation was.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
