Arizona State is the biggest paper tiger in the playoff. I looked at who they played and the scores, and knew Texas was going to absolutely DOG DICK them. It’s going to end 45-10. They don’t have a chance.

Surprisingly it's still only a 2 score game. ASU had a ton of opportunities to come back because their defense somehow has kept it a 2 score game despite their offense only scoring 3 points halfway through the 3rd quarter

Back on topic Arizona State is so bad I’m laughing at this game. Texas needs to clean their sh*t up because they can’t play like this against Oregon and expect to win.

If ASU had comparable on the line talent to Tex…I might like them in this game.  If Boise State had comparable talent I the lines to Penn St I think they would have won.   Deion Sanders was right about one thing. It’s the lines.  That’s the difference.

QBs in a vacuum? Lot of the favorites got overrated dudes.

Sure, if they had comparable talent they wouldn’t have lost any games. They had a cupcake schedule. Putting Arizona State in the playoff over teams like Alabama or Miami is a joke.

Texas is a really weird team. They are so good at times, the defense is elite, but the offense is hot and cold. I think Sark’s offense is too cute sometimes.

If asu had a decent passing offense they could be winning by multi scores with how long their defense has kept Texas below 20 points scored.

Their offense is way too run heavy. With bunch of short passes that don't go anywhere.

100%. A lot of these "premier" team QB's are mediocre at best.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
