We literally have only 1 star on the entire defense.

0 stars on offense.

This season will be about players making a name for themselves. Not sure who will step up, but that's the fun part we get to watch and see who becomes the next Burns or DJ Moore.

Horn, Brown, and Clowney on defense all qualify imo

Joe is just exhausted after that long article he posted this week.

The one where he slipped in the Peyton Manning and Troy Aikman horrible rookie seasons but great careers argument for Bryce Young - while ignoring all the crap rookie seasons by people that went on to crap careers... the other side of the coin that people don't want you to remember.

I did think he was less lazy.

I was referring to Brown as the 1 star.

Clowney at this point is a role player.

Horn has the talent to be a star, but his health is always going to be a question mark. Hopefully he proves us wrong and ball out this year.

They were solid players not top of the position stars. D J Moore was on his way to getting there though

Shockingly, he does NOT have an endorsement for AXE Hair gel yet.  Apparently, they want to target middle school students, so he is a few years too old for that demographic.    It is funny---the Panthers post this announcement and he offers no insights into the move, the cap, etc.  He simple Googles "Panther Roster".  No indication of who they might bring up---nothing.  Cutting edge journalism.

    • Sounds encouraging.  I agree about the LB....I was CERTAIN second round would be a LB.  I would also like to add that, on paper, DL looked solid--but only 1 performed well in 2025 (2 if you count Robinson, who is now gone).  I am guessing they feel that the LB play will improve with the improvement up front--logical.  Remember the old rule (not sure who said it first) "You build from the inside out, front to back."   We drafted, in my early opinion, a starting NT and C this year.  inside out, front to back.
    • Agree--I think a mid-level tackle but he could prove to be an elite G--not sure how he would do at RT--or maybe Freeling---lotta moving parts--but I would look at him at G if mid-level T is his ceiling--he has been improving, but the injury..
    • Worked an event that many players were at including Ickey. Talked to him, looks and walks around good/normal. Taylor Moton released a new Tequila with his partner Matt Kahlil. Taylor looks great and is psyched for the season. He's such a good guy. Even Derrick Brown, very focused. It's like a quiet, calm I'm gonna rip through you confidence. Building his forever home and sticking around CLT. Bryce stopped in, but was upbuilding talking to the guys, not drinking, smoking cigars like others. There was little different aura with them, almost a quiet confidence, some fun. Reminded me of the 2013-2018 era. Had an event Tuesday with TD (he was there last night too) and he thinks the team looks real good, maybe just needs an another LB. He loves the Devin Lloyd pick up.  No negative comments, just giving a nice update on some players.
