Dalton Honeymoon Over

The insistence to get some top 5 like players around him on offense is the direct link to this poor defense.

If he weren't so fuging needy we might have settled for a lesser left guard or right guard for that matter (As much of a beast as Hunt is, I love him, but I believe you don't need the best at all costs to make stuff work if you have a near capable player at QB).

The Bears defense was ranked #2 against the pass, and ranked 3 on takeaways. This was always a very tough matchup for Dalton.

If only we had a RB that was busting them for 5 yards a pop….it would have setup the play action and easier pass opportunities if a HC had prioritized that.  Oh wait….

Terrible grammer = idiot

Maybe. That kind of idiocy transcends perfect grammar, bad spelling, and any and all diplomas.

To say that Bryce is clearly not the problem, is the height of blind fanaticism.

That's just sad that people that stupid exist.

Bryce still wouldnt have come close to what Andy has done the past 3 games.

I agree with Canales having a rough game, but it seems like the point of this thread was to bash Andy.

We're a team predicated on running the ball. We got down 20 quick because our defense is in shambles playing backups at key slots. Dalton had pressure getting through most snaps.

This was a full team L, not helped by Dalton having a bad day. If he plays better it's likely a closer game but a loss.

We stopped running it even before we got down by twenty.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
