Would you trade for Justin Fields?

I think his ability to run gives you a new element and extends drives. Dalton is one of the best in the league right now at downfield throws so the passing would regress a little but I'm not saying fields can't make throws. Dj moore had one of his best seasons with fields so I think he could also get the ball to  Johnson.

Overall I would rather watch fields than Bryce.

I guess the real question is to what end does this trade really make any sense?

Just sign him as a FA.

Might be easier to get him in a trade than as a free agent.  If the front office wants him.

I rather doubt it, TBH. I suspect he isn't going to be a high priced FA. He wasn't sought after as a trade when Pittsburgh got him.

I would expect him to be somewhere in the range of price that Dalton was. $5-7 mil.

Bingo!

No need to trade assets for a guy who will be available in FA.

Hell I'm not a fan of this QB class. If we get the #1 pick why not trade it to the highest bidder. We need to load up on defense anyway.

Sign Fields for a cheap 3yr deal and go from there.

Eh....I mean....I am kind of scarred by recent trading down. I like the idea in theory.

If we could trade down not too far and pick up enough to get back in at the end of the first, it is something that would interest me. Depending on what things look like by that time as far as how what they might be able to do with the picks.

Trade back with Vegas who will no doubt be all in on Sanders especially with the Brady connection who is now part owner. Sanders was also taking pics at the Vegas game with the Raiders owner.

Take them for everything they got.

    • Everybody made too much of that. The CBA and the 17 game schedule is what kills the cohesion we see in teams across the league in the opening games.  You decide, look at your depth and make informed decisions there or you get a an extra quarter or whatever two quarters with your ones.  Teams that are set don’t have those openings as much down the roster to evaluate but that ain’t everybody. It is a quandary. I think they need that 4th preseason game back. But as I said, I don’t lay that as the excuse for Bryce to come out looking like he does to start seasons. He has an entire camp.
    • Hey I said the 1pm west coast team, I said the up down up down and we were due for the up week.  You can’t know what is going to happen. There was a guy that detailed why the league would engineer a Panthers win to bring LA Rams back to the pack in conference standings.  Who really knows, and how much real belief do you have when citing these things? I generally have as much as my superstition allows. It rarely rises to an emotional experience. Usually it is more analytical. In terms of interest. When crazy poo happens and we win a game like today I for sure enjoy it.  I mean you have to think about it, how many times do you connect 2 4th and short situations for TDs? Who does that? That is like the most embarrassing thing for the Rams’ defense lol. That never happens and should never happen.  Expecting it to happen might not be a good plan. But it was pretty great
