Wait the locker room is good right now. We still losing games.

What's the difference?

Losing games is one thing. Having your players mentally quit on the staff and organization is an entirely different ordeal.

This is their livelihoods. They're playing to put film on tape. For pending free agents playing with trash Bryce for a good chunk of the season could literally cost them millions of dollars.

That's true, but we also have to find out if Bryce is our guy or not. We don't have time to go through this again next season. I rather we get it out the way this year.

Johnson is a FA regardless of Bryce or not. We know he has talent with a decent QB. Our Oline is locked up. Johnson on a discount sounds good to me.

Let some other fan base suffer through that poo. The question was already well answered.

They waited too long to trade him.

Miami was the rumored team they about to get Tua back soon. Who else would want him at this point?

Raiders clearly going for a QB in the draft. I can't see any other teams.

This is how a first year HC justifies getting fired. They would have to trade away most of the guys going into free agency to avoid a riot. It would also kill any chance of other players improving.

Whatever, if it ends up in the rebuild I wanted to see this year then fine. Tune out until they demolish this retool.

    • While I really hope things pan out for the young man, sometimes you've got to make a calculated guess on your returns. I wanted so bad to see us use our first round pick on a LB, C or TE this season, but I think this one injury changes everything. I might suggest taking the best and the second best OTs available in the draft with our first and second round picks. The injury to Icky really makes the first one a good choice and an affordable one. And Moton, who is long in the tooth, needs someone in the wings behind him.  This also means that BC is going to need to get a contract for this upcoming season both as a starter at LT and to train the younger player behind him. Also it means that we need to extend a solid contract to Cade Mays and lock him down as our Center for the next four years. Maybe Icky can recover fully and be a starting LT again, but the odds aren't in his favor. Maybe he could be back in line to play as a guard right as our current starters' contracts wind down. It's not pretty having to spend all your picks and money on the line, but it seems to be the wise investment in light of everything.
    • Unfortunate situation.  if one of the top LTs fall in the draft I think it’s a no brainer draft pick. Then if icky returns he can move to guard and replace one of our highly paid guards that are here now.
    • I dont really expect anyone to have any character or values when the system doesn't. I would respect those who did though. College Football is losing what little interest I had in it. I wasn't against giving the athletes some control but whatever this system is will kill it over time.
