I dont believe Bryce is the future at all but I also dont believe we should use a first on Sanders or Ward. Grab someone later in the draft or wait until next year is what I would do but if I were always right I would be a GM so theres that too I guess.

Ward and Sander are worth a first pick, imo. When have we ever drafted a later round QB and developed into something good? We tried twice and it failed spectacularly.
There is no “Wait till next year” because guess what? We may not be in a position to draft a QB next year and they damn sure aren’t going to be moving up to draft someone after the Young debacle.
If ya get the opportunity to draft Sanders or Ward you take it. Maybe they can move down and still get one of them.

I don't fundamentally disagree but have some potential misgivings on the players, or other considerations.

Like, I don't know how much it means, but Canales' experience is not with college QBs. That may or may not matter but it is a consideration.

We could probably find others to ponder. Like the baggage of Prime Time too, what would that be like? Is he gonna undermine the coaching if his son isn't coming out perfect right away? etc

Canales not having experience with College QBs shouldn’t matter. A QB is a QB. Say he can only work with already NFL QBs is not a trait I want in a HC and would be damning.

For me it is Ward over Sanders. So I would hope that is who they aim for and we can an avoid the potential drama drafting Sanders may bring. But I have been impressed with Sanders play, too bad about that attitude.

But if Bryce continues to improve this may be a moot point.

No Ikem vs the best pass rushing team in the NFL?  With no pocket for Bryce to step in to because of arguably the best interior DL in the NFL, Dexter Lawrence?

Giants win comfortably IMO.  Look at how hype the Panthers were to win last week.  That was enough for them.

The Panthers have struggled against mobile QBs this year too.  Guys who can extend the play.  Bo Nix, Marcus Mariota, Caleb Williams.  Panthers have struggled against all QBs this year to be honest, but those guys in particular did the best statistically.  Expect a big game from Danny Dimes, Nabers, and Tyrone.

Panthers run the ball and run the ball and keep running, its a small window to a W. They need to double lawrence the whole dam game, no other way.

The issue is Mays, I get he's the 3rd string C but he played like a 5th string against iants. Even LB were having their ways with him, Davis beat him like a keep pounding drum.

I'd say 90/10 bad guys.

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to pick us to win again for the rest of the season so I’ll pick us here. Giants are bad overall. Their offense is bad, qb is bad, coach is bad, game management is bad, we at least got a shot.

We win this game we just killing our draft position. For a team that's considered the worst in the league the last thing we need is  to have the #8 pick in the draft.

I will never understand how winning some late meaningless games helps us.

    • https://x.com/4thand1show/status/1975274357174784272?s=46   saw this this morning and came to post something similar. I didn’t just love the team or the wins, I loved those dudes man. They put everything they had out there every Sunday. You didn’t see a rep where anybody on that field was low effort in that era, and if you did they were quickly sent packing.
    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
