Win or lose, there will always be negativity about the QB play. At least Bryce didn't lose the game for us like he has done in the past with costly turnovers. We are a bottom dwelling team and we just beat other bottom dwelling teams. Today's win was a TEAM win, offense scored enough, defense got turnovers when it mattered, and special teams won it. Just enjoy the win.

I’m on the replace Bryce train but will give credit where it’s due. His demeanor and willingness to push the ball has definitely changed since his benching.

Thank you! That is a fair take.

I genuinely think some of these posters must be miserable in their personal lives... they just can't be happy and they are determined to drag everyone else dowm

Other than Coker on 3rd down, where are all these bad misses??

The ball was on time and where it needed to be most of the time. Zero turnovers. Got a TD taken away for bs

I don't know why some people are still Panthers fans.

I get not thinking Bryce is the future.

Some of this hate is straight irrational and insufferable though... it just is.

I'm done again for the day.

It's insane Panthers fans happy about a win cant even post without being attacked by this nonsense

You're making yourselves the victims - nobody is attacking you, you're diving in front of any comment that suggests Young played poorly like it's a live hand grenade.

The defence and Hubbard won this game. The Giants thought so little of Young that they punted the ball back to us on 4th and manageable with 3+ minutes left on the clock - and they were right because they got it back with 2:30 on the clock.

100%. We are not magically going to not be a bottom dwelling team this year.

The rational (and IMHO) healthy think to do is hope Bryce and the rookies continue to show improvement and we are competitive.

You didn't even attempt to answer the question

If this was Patrick Mahomes playing with 3 rookies and down 2 Olineman, the announcers would be reminding the audience of that every 5 minutes...

I want to engage here, and I'm definitely not on the Bryce is the savior bandwagon, but some of this stuff is objectively stupid given the context and just insufferable.

I am proud of this team. We lose this game every single time the last 5 seasons

Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl with that type of skill position performance last year.

That's some leap of logic there, buddy.

Agreed. Can you imagine if we lost to the Saints and the Giants, what that would do to team culture and confidence? It would be a disaster and a huge setback. We were the worst team last year, hands down. Winning and beating bad teams is showing progress and letting the guys know that they can play and win.

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
