Bryce Young has arguably the worst supporting cast in the league. Having a top-10 offensive line week-to-week doesn’t absolve that.

Uhhh yeah having a top OLine and a top RB means you don't have the worst supporting cast in the league. Are you okay? Jesus

108 yards 16 points going into the 4rth.   Brilliant indeed.

Neither QB had many yards. We slowed the game down to keep it close. You are hung up on stats without context. He wasn’t elite but he played well today. I think anyone could see that.

I'm convinced that Zod is paying some of you guys to make outrageous statements on this board to stir ish up. If you watched this game and came away thinking Bryce played average, then your "average" is ridiculously high because you don't watch enough football. This offense is devoid of talent at the skilled positions. It's actually pretty bad.

Bryce was probably the 2nd best player in the game today behind Saquon.

He went into the best teams home field in the NFC and navigated 3rd and 4th and long multiple times.   Poised under constant pressure.

and his team should’ve won on ANOTHER late game winning drive.

Multiple drops including the game winning touchdown that was a PERFECT deep ball.

He made one mistake all game.   His first in weeks.

and some of you are still acting like it was an “average “ to below average performance.

GTFOH.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
