I’m not sure his roster is any better than Bryce’s was last year. NE is a pretty bad team. Coaching, sure he has more stability there.

Not gonna lie thier coach sucks and I doubt he will be there more than another year if there isn't massive improvement.

If we judge him on his performance since he got benched.

How is one bad game two steps back if he progressed for 5-6 weeks straight?

The issue is that performance is the bare minimum of what's expected from any starter. We talked up that Chiefs game to no end then Aidan O'Connell went out and put up an even more impressive game and outperformed Mahomes. Then he went out and had one of the ugliest games of the season against the Bucs. O'Connell is a backup at best. We don't have to like it but our first overall pick is in a similar boat.

Stop making these threads @NAS. We get it, you think Bryce is the future and you like to find blame elsewhere for his poor play. LET IT GO. You can stop trying.

It's better than constant posts to bash him.  Scrambling to the board even faster to do it when he has a good game to make sure to put a negative spin on it or say how it didn't matter.

Poor Bryce

Life is just so unfair

sick of this justification

#1 picks  should be a bit more than a game manager and a ‘point guard’   Totally stupid take by the Panthers

Dont fret, he will have $38 million to make up for all the injustices he has endured

He, his family and agent, all were  also smart enough to fleece the Gm and owner of the Panthers

Bill Parcells said it best when said about Young as the number 1 pick given his ohysical limitations in a big man’s game

‘he better walk in water’   He doesnt

i want Josh Allen, not a point guard who cant see over the line and cant throw a 50 yard pass to the end zone

michah parson showed clearly what Young is  that Cowboys  defense had ZERO fear of Young’s arm   We have seen that since he has been here

How many Josh Allen's are there?  I think every team's wants a Josh Allen.  There aren't many available very often.   Look at Stroud this season when his oline and receivers haven't played as well.

9 wins.  Winning the division.  Top 10 in yards.   Yeah he's been horrible

Yeah the "but Stroud sucks" deflection is honestly really embarrassing for our community. Anyone with eyes can see he still possesses the necessary traits of a franchise QB to keep them competing for the playoffs at minimum.

I don’t have any doubts Stroud is a franchise QB. Only points to make is that he wouldn’t look nearly as good on the Panthers due to lack of weapons, especially last year. Conversely Bryce would have done much better with the Texans and looked like a franchise QB but I don’t think he would have broken records like Stroud who is the better prospect overall.

Respectfully I cannot agree with the assumptions being made here. One QB has always had the required phsyical traits and arm talent that popped off the tape. That will always translate to some degree no matter the situation. He would not have been an MVP candidate here but what he can do with his arm changes the way any defense approaches their gameplan. The other..well.. I'd say the best compliment we can give Bryce Young from a phsyical standpoint nearing the conclusion of his second season is he can surprisingly absorb a lot of hits given his size.

You can't even run a sneak with Bryce Young. Seriously.

With Bryce they had combined for

127 rec, 1317 yds, 5 TD

Combined stats after Bryce

 21 rec, 163 yds, 0 TD

But yeah Bryce is the problem for not being a good enough point guard.

Because they aren't playing now

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
