Can't get a cumulative grade, but can get by week:

Week 16: #1
Week 15: #35
Week 14: #16
Week 13: #4
Week 12: #3

Since he asked for it, @Shotgun, there's Week 15. Week 14, 13, and 12 might have fuged up what you were going for though... 😜

Average of 11.8, which is still better than I expected over that timespan. That's really impressive tbh.

So let's see this week.  If this 'trend' holds, he should be middle of the pack following the Bucs.

That seems good enough for top 15, which will hopefully give the top 20 - 25 doomers some relief. :3

If he puts up top 10 performances the rest of the way, even with his first 2 he's gonna finish pretty high in pff overall.

I'm really glad that the guys were able to get a win after such a hard-fought game. They had comeso close, it's good to see a breakthrough. I hope that they can carry that momentum and play spoiler the rest of the way.

I couldn't watch that game specifically and my take is more in general of course - any team can beat any other on any given Sunday in the NFL. The Chiefs are not juggernauts this year by any means and I'd be shocked if they go too deep in the playoffs, but that is kind of my point; Carolina kicked 4 field goals of 33 yards or less that day. Gotta have TDs against the best to win and even 1 TD instead of a field goal wins that game.

Is that all on Bryce? No, and no game comes down to a single play (e.g. the Eagles drop, Chuba's OT fumble, etc). My point is that I'm not seeing anything yet that projects him above that Bridgewater/Smith level and these game outcomes are exactly in line with that performance trajectory.

"I didn't watch the game but am 100% confident in my takes..."

Repeat that a few times slowly to yourself...

I know it makes me sound old to say this, but dammit this place was once not like this...

It's our society in a nutshell in 2024... a person will admit to not even seeing something but won't let that even remotely slow them down from spewing nonsensical takes... it's amazing really...

It does, however, make me feel better about my job security as I age...

If AI doesn't take all our jobs at least I know I'm not losing it to one of these goofs who wouldn't know context or critical thinking if it smacked them in the face...

Thanks, but why not do the entire season? Why stop at week 12? Might of fuged up what you were going for though. haha

It is. And it doesn't matter anymore because it's a sunk cost. We can't keep him around because of his draft cost, nor should we hold it against him, imo. Yes first round rookies get more leeway than others but he still has to earn it now.

It matters because we're still not done paying for him and we've spent a ridiculous amount of resources to build around him. Granted, the FO hasn't been good at making picks, but what we've spent on offense while ignoring defense isn't sustainable. At some point Bryce has to be able to elevate the guys around him and work with what he's got.

I've made it no secret, I don't think he's a future franchise QB that takes this team to the SB. I think he gets you right on the cusp of playoff team, and maybe a weak division win or a WC, but serious deep runs aren't going to happen. I see him as the king of perpetual mediocrity. And in a couple of years we have to decide if we pay him like a franchise guy. We've paid lots of guys based on potential and it hasn't worked out well for us

We'll see if he has "it" and can lead the offense. But I think it's going to get interesting when we have to stop focusing on giving Bryce all the tools and put resources into the defense so that we don't have 3rd string and PS guys as our starters.

And as far as the Chiefs being 14-1, they've gotten more help from the refs this year than the Broncos in SB50.

this condescension ain't it either

some would probably argue owning a panthers psl likely shows low financial IQ

Oh for sure... bitching and dumb takes on a message board makes you a superior fan... how could I not see that??

Thank you for this Christmas miracle for showing me the error of my way.

I'll be sure to email Tepper and tell him I've discovered the secret to fandom...

Any other financial secrets you care to share with us dumb PSL owners since you are evidently the Oracle of wisdom now?

Get it in now bc I'm only wasting one more response on this stupidity...

They've literally beaten the 2 best teams in the NFC (Lions, and Eagles) and have beaten two other likely playoff teams in Washington and the Chargers. What are you even talking about?

I’m old. This season feels like 3 wrapped up in one. I didn’t look.  I just remembered the recent Giants, Panthers, Raiders, etc stuff.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
