Bills got way too predictable with those 4th and 1 plays. You have to do something else if you're that predictable it's going to get stopped eventually.

yeah and it's not like they've been automatic. the 4th downs were getting converted, but it didn't work on the one 2pt attempt and there were also a handful of 3rd and 1s that they got stuffed on with that play. should've called play action there

I think this is a bad matchup for him. They have good coverage guys on him.

maybe, I don't know how much different the Bills' D is this year than the past few years but in 3 playoff meetings against the Bills he has nearly 300 yards and 5 TDs, including 75/2 last year. I think he's definitely slowed down a bit and the Bills are still game planning for him but the Chiefs have other options (like Juju, Hollywood) to go to instead when he's covered.

And just like that Chiefs D crumbling again and letting them right back in it.

That happens on almost every play, of every game, refs almost never have the exact same spot on each side of the field and always comes down to whichever ref ends up getting handed the ball first.

The difference is that this was a 4th down play that was being decided by literal inches in the AFC Championship

From where the OL’s blue stripe is and Allen having the ball in his left arm (can see that from the other side), he looks like he got to the line. Also, Kincaid caught the ball and fell on the line. Looked like he almost got there or did get there but look at the blue line of scrimmage. Had they not spotted Kincaid way shorter, Allen makes it easily.

Huge play that the refs gave to KC by spotting it short and then going to replay. Basically means there has to be indisputable evidence to overturn. Two straight poor spots and they get shafted IMHO. If KC wins, it’ll be because of those two spots both clearly benefiting KC.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
