@Mr. Scot I remember back in the 70s when the referees were seen as having amazing integrity.  They were viewed as keepers of the game and bad calls were devastating.  No one outside of the mafia could sway these refs.  It is NOT like that now.  At all.  It is a true conspiracy for ratings.  If it wasn't so obvious it could be questioned but I remember how it used to be.

Ok, just go ahead and ignore all the horseshit calls that the Patriots and now the Chiefs get. They literally made a new rule after Brady went down that year.

It's not about helping old dynasties. It's about maintaining the current one.

Every decade has had a dynasty franchise. Is that coincidence?

Its one of the reasons I don't believe it.  The other is that conspiracies are mostly gibberish anyway.

The Superbowl, the playoffs dominate the ratings.  They dominate if the Chiefs are there, if the Panthers are there, or if the Dolphins are there.  They don't really care who gets there.

Dynasties are part of professional sports and always have been. Whether its the 1920's Yankees, the Celtics in the 60's, some Hockey team I don't care about etc...

When you're already on top, the more calls you get. Have you not noticed that?

I wonder if sometimes coaches get so caught up in the moment, they lose track of what they should be doing.  Or maybe its the mantra of putting the game in the hands of their star qb's.

In fairness, the Cowboys and Steelers haven't played well enough recently to be in position to benefit from favorable calls. Also, I still remember that Steelers vs Seahawks Super Bowl. I may not care much for the Seahawks, but man, it sure looked like the referees were doing everything in that game so that Cowher could finally get a ring.

Wake up, watching Super Bowl 50 should have been plenty of proof.

Whatever the case, it's somewhat similar to what Canales does from time to time, calling pass after pass after pass. You're just begging for the defense to tee up on it and get your QB in big trouble, especially when your O-line isn't  the best in pass protection already.

      I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.

      I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
