For hunting animals that people regularly hunt and eat?

I'm not going to say I'd ever want to try to eat Raccoon or Squirrel, but it's not different than someone posting/talking about hunting deer or other animals that it's "normal" to hunt and eat.

My bigger fear with it is that he's going to get some weird disease as some of these animals have to carry some diseases I'd imagine.

If he wants to hunt for food and live that lifestyle I'm not bothered by it. Not a good idea to be broadcasting it to social media in this day and age though. Especially if he's fileting squirrels of all creatures and as others have mentioned there is the element of disease to be taken into consideration. But there is a definite bias in America as far as which animals are deemed okay to kill for meat and which aren't. I know I'm not the only one that has been bombarded in recent years with those cringy Chick-fil-A ads where some rando bloviates about how delicious Chick-fil-A's chicken is like the rest of us don't already know this. But that's a conversation for another subforum though. As long as he improves as an NFL receiver he can do whatever he wants with his life.

Yep he could get really sick eating wild animals he has too much to lose

Legette isn't a good receiver and it's not his fault we traded up to draft him in the 1st. He's the type of boom/bust prospect who should probably go in the 3rd round. He was better as a rookie than I expected. Let's see what he looks like. Being a miserable bastard off the field isn't going to help you play any better.

      When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
