I think his catching is elite.  I forget what game but he had a slant route on a 5 WR set, in traffic and snapped it out of the air with his hands like like a Cobra.  Good route running, great size.  His 10 yard split and broad jump are elite.

The knock on him was his lack of competition and speed but watch his run after the catch in games.  He is not getting chased down.  Not an issue.

Purely my opinion but I think he has some of the biggest potential of any player on the team.

I played in the Southern Conference and we had 1 guy drafted; three more made NFL teams as UDFAs following my last year.  Now, these guys were head and shoulders better than most everyone else on our team, but we still thought, "Nobody from here is going to make a splash in the NFL. Sure, they are good against Furman and the Citadel..."  Two of the undrafted free agents became pro bowlers and had 10+ year careers.  You just never know, so when I hear, "level of competition" that means little to me.  I mean, the level of your team makes it more difficult to shine, if you ask me.  If your OL sucks and your QB sucks and your coach sucks--it is hard to look good.

Anquan Boldin, son. A reach, sure, but this dude is the truth. He’s our first pure WR prospect since…. When? You watch his game and it’s just so smooth. As a Panthers fan, I’m conditioned to expect drops in crucial moments. He makes me feel uncomfortable in the fact that he catches every stinking ball.

If he caught 8 TDs and 800 yards next year… it would be sweet, but would surprise no one who has payed attention.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
