True. But honestly, all Hurney ever did was go bpa based on the overall ranking of Mel Kiper or Bucky Brooks or whoever he decided to listen to that year.

That's my thinking. If Walker is gone then I haven't a clue. I might be able to predict the pick before the card is in if Hurney were making the selection.

Walker makes too much sense for the Panthers. If he's there he will likely be the pick regardless of what they do in FA.

Now the combine could change that of course. Interviews can reshuffle the deck for some of these guys.

Walker fits everything we need on defense.   A good leader, pass rusher and run stopper from an elite defense.   Its a damn no brainer
