Should we take a shot at DT Johnathan Allen? Just released, they couldn't find a trade partner. Maybe can get him on a decent one or 2 year deal?

Kick the tires, but how much is too much?  Draft should be deep with DT which makes me hope we don’t overspend for a stop gap.

The problem we face right now is that the only sought after free agents that we're going to be able to land are the ones that we're willing to overpay. Just understand that going into any of these discussions.

he wasnt good last year but if you can get him dirt cheap as depth then sure

He is still a good player, and I’m sure the Commanders would have loved to keep him around, just not at his current contract.

His stats and pff grade tell a different story.  Looks like his play has been in a free fall for the past 4 years.  The nfl is brutal, but like I said if he is cheap enough he would be good depth

He got released because of this upcoming drafts strengths. So nah if we sign anyone in want Milton for his game wrecking ability or a proven nose to eat double teams

^this and I’m not sure how Allen would fit in our 3-4 scheme. He’s played most of his career as a 4-3 DT.
