I also think this is exactly how you use analytics. They spent a lot of time talking about how there was a 45%, 90%, 17% percent chance a certain player would fall to them and used that knowledge to plan who they wanted to pick. They did not use analytics to draft a 'super sleeper with traits'. Watching the last few of these with DM at the helm, I think they know what a football player looks like and use their analytics to help prepare draft strategy. Im very high on this FO group. -

I dont want to read into this too much but I think this might confirm that we are done with Icky. If you are targeting a LT and not just surprised that one fell to you, then you have to be looking at that long term. From a team POV its not bad. They got a long term LT. Let Icky walk and likely get a 3rd round pick back and a better cap situation. -

I'm not ready to give up on this team, they got it together after the Montreal blowout and I expect them to play Canes hockey next game - this was first game jitters which Vegas didn't have because they have been their done that. Freddie and the first line have to show up and we will be fine.
