6'5 335 lbs, 27yo

4th rounder for the Cardinals, played on the Jets last year. Been mostly a rotational guy, but could be another Luvu-type discovery from the Jets that could blossom here.

Guy was a multi-sport coming out of college, played football AND rugby at 335 pounds. Running full speed in a game like that with THAT size? That's an incredible feat.

He's a low risk traits vs production kinda guy with all the measureables you'd want in a NT, and that 335 is mostly muscle! He looks lean for his size. Very athletic, but raw. Not a lot of highlights so had to go back to college:

Also, he has a Panthers connection because he trains in the offseason with a cousin of his: Star Lotulelei

I think he's the perfect opportunity to give a shot to a young guy with a prove-it deal, and if he can make a turnaround here, then it'll just make us even stronger.

Panthers… where rejects get another chance to prove why they are rejects.

Frankie Luvu was one of those 'rejects', and look at him now thriving. First with us, now with the Commanders. But it just goes to show theres diamonds in the rough out there that we could take a bargain shot at.

washington is who we should have been. they're now going all in. we are playing catch up and hoping the momentum from bryce carries over to next year and it wasn't a flash in the pan.

Literally was thinking the same thing just now.  We won’t be winning anything in 2025.

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
