We're in the middle of a youth movement. He was obviously needed because no one had any idea how the DEs would look, but it looks like it's going to be hard to just find enough reps for Johnson, Brown, and Hardy.

Not necessarily thinking it happens, I mean he looked great before he got hurt in the first game, but it's more the opportunity cost...wouldn't it better to have the young guns out there that have more upside?

I mentioned that before too. I do think he needs to stay for experienced leadership. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut. They already cut him one time. I think they keep 4 DE's and Eric Moore may make it over Brayton (assuming Norwood is chalked up as OLB).

Not only that, but he can move inside on passing downs (as can Johnson).

If we didn't have to worry about injuries it would be a possibility.

He makes the team without a doubt. I think he could have played in the last game, but they held out to keep him healthy. He is a proven DE with ability. It's the supporting cast of rookie and 2nd yr. DE's they want to see in the preseason.

once he gets back in more than likely he will be back as a starter or at the very least heavily involved in the rotation.

DE Tyler Brayton will diffently stay.Not only will he be a starter but his ability to be moved inside on certain plays,plus his experience,makes him much to valuable not to be retained.
