Panthers uniform combo bracket

I love our traditional looks. Silver Helmet, Black Jersey, Silver Pants/Silver Helmet, White Jersey,White Pants.

The problem with the silver pants, is Nike doesn't do the shiny silver fabric anymore, so our pants are now grey, and it does not look as good.

That said, I HATE all these weird combos we've started doing. The white jersey looks terrible with everything but white pants.

I do like some of the blue and black mix and match, especially with the black helmet.

That said, if were going to screw around with the uniforms every week like it's madden, I don't understand why we don't just do a full redesign to something that would look better with weekly tinkering.

All that said, I'm an old head who prefers the classic looks with some of the wilder stuff for special occasions.

I agree with you on the weird combos. I still can't believe they actually thought white jerseys/silver pants was a good thing to try.

I feel like if they're going to do all these random combos to change up the look they need to just do a full re-design and get it over with.

I maintain that black helmets/blue jersey/black pants would be the best home combo we could have.

Blue jersey/white pants/blue socks

Silver helmet

I like the blackout too on occasion

Yeah, this.

This and the classic black on silvers are far and away their best looks. Wear those as often as possible.

I think the panthers should steal a uniform concept from Pittsburgh--the Pirates.  This logo branding-- a classic yet subtle design promotes your team like no others. I would add a jersey number to the front--probably on the front of the pants.  Creativity is not lacking on the back either, with the name of the player vertical beside the jersey number, also vertical. Imagine this in  blue and silver, with a Panther instead of a Pirate. I would probably steal the pinstriped gray pants as well.  It is eye catching and classy at the same time, like Halle Berry in Monster's Ball.  Without further ado....

I know the season is after Labor Day, but white pants for me. Pair that with a silver helmet and any color jersey, looks clean. I also like the black socks with the all white.

I don't like the silver helmets with the all whites--and when NE switched to silver helmets with the same basic design shape in 1993, I decided that we should have done something different.  Of course, I was in shock at the time, as the Panthers released (before the 1995 season) the ugliest uniform I had ever seen:

I thought, "They copied the Patriots new helmet, basically."  Same color and same basic shape.  Why do that?

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
