Wouldn't mind if he's the pick. I just don't thinks he's that far ahead of Jayden Higgins as a prospect. I'd rather take Higgins for better value later in the draft

He took 1 DE, 2 OT, 2RB, 1 OLB, 2 MLB, 1 QB between 2001 and 2012 so I guess by this logic it could be a tackle too

McMillan was targeted 15 times in the game, five while he was being defended by Hunter. The Colorado Heisman hopeful held him to just three receptions for 15 yards with one first down, but one of those catches was a two-yard touchdown in which McMillan used his frame to box out Hunter and made an impressive one-handed snag.

So, T-Mac was targeted 5 times with Hunter on him in that game.  T-Mac caught 3 of the 5 passes, one of them for a TD, and if you read the article, Hunter also had a Pass Interference call on him against T-Mac in the game... all in a game that T-Mac had over 100 yards and Arizona won... that's 4 positive plays out of 6 targets when Hunter was covering him, something he likely didn't do a ton of seeing as T-Mac had 10 targets and 6 catches with others covering him.

And you take that as Hunter winning the battle and the proof that you need to pass on T-Mac?

At the absolute worst, that's a push, and even for it to be that, you'd need to show video of Hunter completely locking T-Mac down on every route he covered him and caused the QB to check down off T-Mac to someone else.

I honestly don't think he would. He passed on several notable TE prospects in the 1st round, including our own Greg Olsen. I think Chud influenced the TE signings more than anything. But I digress.

There were 40 scouts there apparently, so yea, when they're all hand timing him, it's going to give you a wide range of possible times, but in the end, 40 times don't matter anyways.  Running a 4.46 or a 4.58 is basically all the same when his game isn't predicated on speed.

He has more than enough speed given all his other attributes he brings, which is all that matters in the end.

No, he's not a track star, but his size and hands are both 99th percentile amongst NFL WRs.  Which is why I don't get all the fan hand wringing over his speed, because it's just ignoring the things he can do that almost every other WR in the NFL can't do.

They literally used the individual fastest time for that post.  Basically everyone there had him between 4.54 and 4.59.  Just watch the tape.  He's not a 4.4 guy.   Also you usually add .05 for hand timed pro days.

If Coker had the size, hands, catch radius, and route tree of T-Mac, then you could say he would be a similar player, but if that was the case, then there would be a 0% chance he'd have gone undrafted.

I just went with the shorthand instead of going into the many reasons they aren't similar players lol

Tmac is taller but they are similar in weight so they are both big bodied.  Coker has longer arms so his catch radius is probably bigger.  Coker had 0 drops so I guess that covers hands.  I never said coker was better

They literally didn't, the school put out that he ran 4.48, it was one of the various scouts there who had him at the 4.46 that I mentioned.

So please excuse me if I don't put much regard behind your opinion of where he's worth being drafted.

As I've said over and over again on here, if people want to draft someone else for legitimate reasons, I have no issue with that, it's totally fair.  But it's when people say they don't want to draft T-Mac for these weird asinine made up reasons that I take issue with.
