If Pep doesn't want to be here (like it sounds) then I don't want him here. I'd rather have someone who wants to play here and free up cap space to keep building rather than sink 80 mil into one player that doesn't wanna play here.

I can definitely see Oakland making a run a Peppers. It is Oakland's secret to success. Each year bring in 1 big player that energizes the fan base and give them something to look forward to in the fall.

He certainly wouldn't be traded within the division, and maybe not even in conference.

According to what? Its already been stated that he hasn't committed to staying.

Go get the quote that says Peppers doesn't want to stay.

What we DO know is that Peppers held off doing any thing toward a new contract, until after the season was over. Choosing to focus on his game. Which was prolly the best decision he could have made, considering his down season a year ago.

We also know contracts to star players don't get handed out this time of year.

So all there is, is speculation. Of course the writers are doing their part of speculating too.
