my goodness Mike Green

No institution wants this kind of stuff to get out. They handle it "in house" because it is an internal matter, like a company policy on sexual harassment. It may not be a crime, but it is misconduct.  Now, imagine what its like for a female to go to the police about a star athlete.  So when I read Green say, "I never talked to the police about it" I hear, "I am not denying it..." I know several female students in high school who came to me with a complaint against the high school coach for grabbing them, kissing them, and making crude sexual comments to them.  Problem? He won the state championship the year before.   Central office covered it up when I reported it to them as required by law.  A year or so later, he grabbed a student from a high school outside the district during a basketball game and kissed her, pulling her toward his office.  That parent went to the newspaper--front page.  The school and system denied knowing anything about his history.  Unfortunately, the law does not regulate character--it deals with laws being broken if the victim has the courage to come forward and press charges.

Im always willing to listen and want the full truth.

The facts are guys like green are allowed to get by with this stuff and you never hear or know what's going on. I promise more than few ladies were paid off on various times during Greens football career. A couple of them didn't want the hush money, they wanted fair justice.....

For me just too much of a pattern and any big school kicks off a player that is a legit game changer. that's very telling, you were given a last chance and failed. Just huge flags on this alone.

Sad cause Im a big fan and had him rated over everyone's favorite Carter....

the queen and ladies will be safer without green..

no charges?

looks like it could easily be false and a money grab / get back.

ill take green at 8

None of us has the details to know the truth. The NFL teams have to do a far deeper dive to attempt to gauge the character of any prospect with red flags in their history.

If we draft him, the Panthers were satisfied with what they came up with. If we don't, perhaps we weren't(or he just wasn't as high on our board).

I am not going to riot either way, unless we draft him and then he has more issues with us.

He came to UVA under the guidelines that if he had another female problem, he would be kicked off the team.

Ask yourself why they gave him a ultimatum to begin with? (*hint is above)

Once done figuring that out, ask yourself why did Green break the deal and get kicked off the team?

Then multiplier can be applied and ask yourself if the pattern will stop when the Panthers give him millions?

Good luck...

Bonus- Panthers pick 8th if Iif ifififiififfifiifififif green was rated on the field as 89 out of 100 and walker is 87.5, its better the draft the guy that is much less likely to be jailed. I promise you some women are waiting until green is draft and have their lawyers send over some pay me off or Ill start some drama stuff.

An isolated incident with a guy that everyone else is vouching for is one thing. But when it's an issue time and again with multiple people in multiple locations... well, where there's that much smoke there's usually fire.

Everyone keeps adding fuel to the fire that is simply not there. Anonymous allegation in h.s. not even questioned, which means the accuser did not go to the police. Anonymous allegation in college not even questioned, which means the accuser did not go to the police.  In the current age of Title IX, allegations brought to the attention of the school/police would have been investigated.  These were not.  Prison? Really, when Deshawn Watson is still the qb for the Browns?

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
