I do not like trading for picks in next year's draft.

Unless a CBA gets worked out, next year's draft will suck....no underclassmen will come out.

You think so? I'd think a second, maybe even a late first. He's pretty damn good and doesn't have the mileage on him he might under other coaches.

Lynch has a much more attractive contract situation and was traded for a 4th and a conditional (5/6th I think) pick. I don't see how you get 2-3 rounds higher for Williams at 27 and in need of a new contract.

Pats are not going to take on a hefty contract with 2 1/2 years left on it with a potential lockout looming. Especially for an injured player (twice this year) over 30.

He was injured thrice this year, if thou considerest the Giants game last season.

Steve Smith has caught more passes from Clausen than Gettis has. In fact Steve Smith has caught more passes from Clausen then any of our receivers have I do believe!

Just saying....

on topic, I can't see this happening, the Panthers will be asking for a lot more than any team would be willing to give up for him. He is aging and I dare say he may have some durability questions

Point still stands, people need to stop making things up because they hate Clausen. He said all we see is Gettis...that isn't true. Steve Smith has more catches than any other receiver on the team since Clausen has been the starting QB.
