Why was Jason Allen released?

couple of things- 1) we aren't signing anyone until the season is over and a CBA is a reached.

2) he was released because they signed Al Harris, which makes Allen expendable.

Ken Lucas was horrible his last 2 seasons of play. Not that Marshall is that much better, but letting Lucas go was a good move.

haha you DONT want this guy. he has 3 ints. 2 against favre......he is stupid. no seriously....he cant read offenses, his only success comes in man coverage. He cant play zone, he is beat constantly. He slips, has terrible balance, he can sort've tackle well. hes a good special teamer.

He might still be an upgrade to Marshall though. He gets beat like a drum in man and zone. He really isn't a number 2 either.
